Hello! My name is Taylor Martin and I make things out of multimedia.
I'll sit down with you and help grow your idea. I offer a complete range of media solutions: photos, editing, scripting, filming, video production, graphic design, & web design.
Whatever you need on a personal or pro level, I am likely equipped to handle. If you are located on the Big Island of Hawaii, I would love to help you out on your project. It doesn't matter if it's big or small: I'll provide valuable guidance from the start to finish. If you need pictures of your event, I can do it. If you want to do a crowdfunding campaign, I can do it. If you need a website for your business, I can do it. If you need any possible variation of those things, chances are good that Taylor Martin has what you need.
Grand Naniloa Hotel
The Grand Naniloa Hotel is looking much nicer than it used to. I was asked to put together a short commercial showing their renovated rooms as well as highlight the types of scenery that tourists could expect to see on the east side. Using just a couple rooms and the lobby - all of which were still undergoing construction with drilling & hammering going off all around me - I was able to come up with a nice signature look.
World Drone Academy Photography Instructor
I was asked to be instructor of photography and videography for the World Drone Academy, the premier drone school in the state. My lessons include photography fundamentals, as well as advanced editing techniques. I specialize in the Adobe Cloud suite - Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, Audition, etc., and am glad to share the expertise I've picked up along the way.
Allstate Insurance: Speegle Agency
A series of mini-commercials for online use talking about the dangers of hurricanes in Hawaii. A short recording session was all I needed to turn some prompted questions into a concise series of thematic video clips. Perfect for immediate distribution on social media or websites.
Hilo Medical Center Foundation
I was tasked with putting together this documentary remembering the efforts of Herbert Segawa, a Big Island representative who founded the Hilo Medical Center Foundation. As the non-profit wing of Hilo Medical Center, the HMCF is responsible for accepting donations and maintaining community relations. This documentary was shown at their annual banquet which honored Herb Segawa for his service.
Now that the hard sell is out of the way, I'd like to take some time to talk about myself.
I was born and raised in Hilo on the Big Island of Hawai'i. I graduated from Kamehameha Schools and four years later, the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. I have fanatical devotion to mixed media and the arts, although my bachelor's degree is in business management. I pride myself in my ability to work around my client's schedule and needs. I don't talk an awful lot, but what I lack in loquaciousness I make up 10-fold in results. Instead of returning to the big city, I have decided to indebt my time and energy towards helping the good people of Hilo and the Big Island by providing them with quality multimedia. I operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and am already anxiously awaiting your email.
